These kinds of articles are always interesting to me as they show just how pervasive advertising can become. We as a society get such mixed messages. It always eat less, be healthier, eat smarter. However the things we buy are getting larger for similar prices, which we also are taught to always chase (best deal is always better).

I'm not sure about the pizza one. I worked for Pizza Hut and I'm sure the standard medium pan pizza went from 11" to 10" in the last couple of years.
ReplyDeleteThe other thing they neglect to mention is the fact that all the original small burgers are still available, with the exception of the original Happy Star. I've moved mostly to the small-burger-with-fixin's rather than the triple-whopper pounding guy I used to be.
